Who were the Moors?
The word Moor was used to describe a person that was non-white or Muslim. If a Moor was living in " Elizabethan England", it was common for them to be singled out and be called names such as "devils" and "villains" due to their choice of clothes, customs and behaviors. They were stereotyped as having a lot jealousy, sexually overactive and that was one of the reasons Queen Elizabeth deported them in 1601. Before they got deported they had "full diplomatic recognition" due to the fact that they help conquer Spain

They were very wealthy people in 1500's and the name "Venetians" comes from the Italians that came down from Venice. Apart from being wealthy they were also famous for their trade and canals

The Florentines were also know as the Camerata de' Bardi, this group of humanists, musicians, poets and intellectuals gathered under the patronage of Count Giovanni de' Bardi to discuss about trends in art and drama. This group firsts meeting was in 1573, and it is said that the most famous men of Florence came as frequent guest.
Who and where were the Turks?
"The Turks were despicable creatures to the Venetians and to Europeans in general. The "Holy" Crusades were fought against them. In Othello, Shakespeare has the Turks defeated by the Venetians."
